Join us for an all-inclusive Expedition designed for those who want to explore, unwind, and connect with the ocean. This November trip offers ideal weather and visibility, perfect for exploring the rich marine biodiversity around Cerralvo Island, La Ventana Bay, Cabo Pulmo and Magdalena Bay.
What Makes November Special? This time of year offers exceptional water clarity, comfortable temperatures, and calm seas. We've often encountered smaller groups of mobulas and an impressive variety of marine life, including:
-
Dolphins (spinner, bottlenose, and common)
-
Sea lions
-
Sea turtles
-
Reef and pelagic fish (pufferfish, angelfish, sergeant major)
-
Sharks (hammerhead, silky, mako, bullsharks)
-
Gray Whale
-
Marlin and more
The Area:
La Ventana Bay & Isla Cerralvo La Ventana Bay is a stunning marine corridor known for its biodiversity and dramatic desert-meets-ocean scenery. Just across the bay, Isla Cerralvo (also known as Jacques Cousteau Island) is a protected marine area with incredible snorkeling spots, sea caves, coral reefs, and abundant life.
Cabo Pulmo – The Aquarium of the World
Cabo Pulmo is home to one of the most successful marine reserves on the planet. Nicknamed “the Aquarium of the World,” this vibrant coral reef system is full of life: colorful reef fish, moray eels, turtles, and even bull sharks thrive here. Thanks to decades of conservation, diving or snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo feels like entering a living underwater paradise.
Magdalena Bay – The Marlin Migration Phenomenon
Every fall, Magdalena Bay becomes the stage for one of the most spectacular marine events in Baja California Sur — the striped marlin migration. Massive bait balls form as sardines gather in the bay, attracting predators like marlin, sea lions, dolphins, and sharks. Watching striped marlins hunt in coordinated bursts is an unforgettable experience for snorkelers, divers, and photographers. The action is fast, raw, and wild — this is nature at full speed, just below the surface.
Please note: All wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed. All water interactions are guided and carefully evaluated to ensure they are safe and respectful.
