Scuba diving at La Ventana, Ensenada de Muertos and Isla Cerralvo with Kraken Divers is a private, tailored experience designed for certified and beginner divers who want to explore the underwater beauty of Baja California Sur at their own pace. We don’t follow fixed routes — every tour is shaped by the day’s sea conditions and your level of experience.
We launch from different points depending on the plan for the day, with dive sites located both inside and outside the bay, including areas around Isla Cerralvo. From volcanic reefs to rocky underwater landscapes, each location offers a unique view into the rich marine life of the Gulf of California.
Expect a calm, personalized dive experience—no rush, no crowds—just you, your group, and the underwater world.
A Living Aquarium
The Gulf of California, often referred to as "the world's aquarium" by Jacques Cousteau, boasts over 900 species of fish and nearly 40% of the world's marine mammal species. Its nutrient-rich waters support a vibrant ecosystem, making it a haven for marine life enthusiasts.
Divers can encounter a variety of marine life, including sea turtles, eels, and an array of colorful reef fish. The underwater landscapes feature coral reefs, sea fans, and rocky formations teeming with life.
The region's biodiversity is further highlighted by the presence of unique species such as nudibranchs, jawfish, and various crustaceans.

How is the tour step by step
1. Departure at 8:00am from one of our Locations 2. Jump in the boat to start with the dive tour, or get ready from short. 3. Briefing and gear setup 5. The return time will depends on the dives and the weather conditions.
What does it include?
-Scuba Instructor -Scuba Gear -Water & Soda -Snacks (granola bar, chips, fruit) -2 tank dive for certified divers.
You need to...
-Bring your certification card (for certified divers) -fill out the medical form for beginner divers -Bring swimwear, eco-friendly sunscreen lotion, hat, sunglasses, towel, confortable clothes and shoes, and cash for tips.

1. What do I need to bring on the tour? Swimsuit, towel, eco-friendly sunscreen, comfortable clothes, a sweatshirt, hat, and great attitude! if you want to bring your own snack and drinks you can do that too. 2. How is the payment made? It is necessary to pay 100% of the total amount before your tour. 3. What happens if the tour is cancelled? If the tour is cancelled by us we will refund the total amount paid, cancellations will be made in case of bad weather and we will notify you as soon as possible. In case you cancel for any reason, we will not be able to refund your money. 4. What is the minimum age for this tour? The minimum age for this tour is 13 years old. 5, Is it necessary to be certified for this tour? No. Since is a private tour, we can adjust the dive for you. 6. Can passengers such as small children, elderly people or other people who do not want to enter the water go on the boat? No, this is a long tour where we will be in the water all the time and it is definitely not recommended for people who do not want or are not able to go in the water. 7. Can I bring my own cooler with beer, snacks etc? Yes, it is possible, but please try not to take up too much space since the boat is a panga. 8. How many people are in each group on this tour? A maximum of 2
